Uyeasound Galley Shed - Part 2 of 2

Here are photos of the excellently decorated Uyeasound Galley Shed. The top right shield was the Guizer Jarls shield from the late 1990's through to 2009.

For those with an eye for axes - the axe on the left is from the Lerwick UHA 2009 - members of the Lerwick UHA visited the Uyeasound Galley shed (theres also a LUHA 2009 shield hanging just to the left of it), but this is Ian Thomason's shield and axe as he was in the 2009 Lerwick Jarl squad.

The large Raven shield far left was the Guiser Jarls shield through the 1980's. The other metal shields were the Jarl Squads shields through the 1980's to the early 1990's.

Older helmets - left helmet is Guizer Jarls.

Unknown Year.
Replica of a shield used for several years by the Jarl squads. First used in 1913 it was used extensively through the 1930s and up to the 1970's. It was resurrected for use again during the 2000's.

The 'back room' has a collection of axes hanging from the ceiling.
