Last of the SMUHA Galley

This is all thats left of the SMUHA Galley at the St. Ninians Tombolo after the excellent procession and burning on Friday evening.

There was also little sign that anything had actually taken place on the Tombolo - apart from a few tracks.

The Galley - Skíđblađnir. The design of the galley head was based on the well-known dragonhead stone carving found at Jarlshof. A floating ship with a double skin to ensure it does not burn down too quickly.
