Its finally happened - kozetland1 and our Lodberrie Correspondent have made it into the Shetland Times. In an article wirtten by smirk about the Uyeasound Centenary Up Helly Aa there appears the following (Shetland Times, Friday 18th February 2011)....
No need to wonder why - because they are there! They are certainly not all the same however and its interesting to see all the differences between them. Would we do it every year? possibly - its a lot of effort, but its an excellent experience - and at almost all of them - great fun.
ps. its Bressay in the morning and Cullivoe in the afternoon - with Norwick the following day.
